Property Manager & Housekeeping
Harriett has been the property manager for many many years at Coverley House. She is always so friendly and cares for each guest with enthusiasm, going above and beyond to ensure their comfort and overall experience exceeds expectations. Harriet gets praise in every review we receive from guests. We have been blessed to get to know her and her family well. Her daughter Shadair is a talented chef and has upon request prepared authentic Bajan meals for guests right at the villa. Harriett does an amazing job and is like family to us.
Pool Maintenance
Andre and Felicia started maintaining the pool at Coverley House in 2014 and always do a fantastic job! Since that time they have taken over all the maintenance aspects of caring for the Villa. There is nothing they won’t do and they always do it with excellence. They take an abundance of pride in their work! They also introduced us to Rock who they bring along to care for the gardens. In 2017 Andre & Felicia welcomed their first child Eli into their family who is their pride and Joy! We have loved getting to know them all well and they are truly like family to us.
Testimonials
You will not want to leave!
A lovely property with all the amenities. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated! No need to leave, but so many beaches and restaurants are just a short drive away! Harriet keeps everything spotless and she can help with your every need. The breeze keeps you comfortable, but dips in the sparkling pool provide added refreshment. We especially enjoyed breakfasts in the gazebo and driving the countryside discovering great fish dinners and beautiful views. Can't wait to go back!

Another fantastic stay in our Bajan home from home
Coverley house has always been our first choice when we stay in Barbados and it’s only a short and straight forward journey from the airport whether you are hiring a car or getting a taxi. Once you experience the villa it is truly a home from home.
Due to the high demand around the Christmas/New Year period Dec 2017/2018 we couldn’t stay at Coverley and booked another villa, even though it was very spacious and with a beautiful view, Coverley house is on another level.
After a busy day around the island or on many of the beautiful beaches you can return to the villa and just relax with seclusion. You can choose to eat inside with a large indoor lounge dinning space with new beautiful furniture or have a bbq and dine under the gazebo which again has new furniture near the pool.
The villa is beautifully cleaned and maintained by Harriett who is so welcoming and the pool is regularly serviced. A large well equipped kitchen is on offer if you really want to cook, great for preparing breakfast before heading off to explore the island.
New luxurious sunbathing loungers have also been added to the pool area as well as the comfortable furniture in the lounge.
Barbados has so much to offer with its great variety of dining options. Tides, Lone Star and Champers are our must visit restaurants each time we stay on the Island. Jammin catamaran cruise is always a fantastic 1/2 day trip up the west coast and to be able to swim with turtles. The daughter of our friends described it as the best day of her life. A visit to the Boatyard entertains kids of all ages with the rope swing, trampolines and Iceberg climbing inflatable in the sea.
There has been a lot of thought put into making your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, the warmth and attention to detail from Becky and Andy radiates throughout the house.
This is highlighted on coverleyhouse.com, giving further details on the house and staff. Bookings and availability are routed via the homeaway website.
We have brought many friends with us to stay at Coverley House and they have all fallen in love with the house and the Island.
We cannot wait to return.
Mark and Vanessa.

Absolutely stunning villa, we loved our stay
The property is lovely and clean with all the amenities you may need. it is only 5 mins from the airport meaning you get to start relaxing pretty much as soon as you land, there are some great restaurants, shopping and beaches only a short journey away, we would not hesitate in using this beautiful villa again on our return to Barbados.

Coverley House, Barbados
Beautiful Barbados! Very relaxing!
Had a wonderful time at Coverly house in Barbados. The house is beautiful! The pool was lovely, it was nice to spend time relaxing by it! We enjoyed a different beach everday. We found getting around by bus easy and inexpensive. Tour operators will pick you up right at the house which is very convenient. We loved Calabaza cruises, fun, delicious food and snorkelling was amazing! It was so nice to have some food in the fridge to get us started and the housekeeper is lovely and full of good information. The house is well equipped with everything you would have at home. We also did a tour that included Harrison Cave which is a must see! We would definitely go back

This property is lovely and great location.
The flagged stoned entrance, large doorway, the wonderful tiles and pillars make this outside area very attractive. The great view to the beautiful pool when the French doors were open was so inviting and we were able just to jump in and relax. My favourite was to just sit and reflect under the gazebo. I just listened to the shack-shack tree bristling in the breeze and admired the beautiful Frangipani, bougainvillea and crotons. The pretty bougainvillea was used as decoration to my daughter's wedding cake.
The highlight was having our wedding makeup and hair done in the gazebo. The makeup and hair stylist were so grateful for this beautiful space as it was picturesque and so breezy.
The air conditioning was a blessing in the evening and aided us with much needed sleep and comfort. The decor is stylish and comfortable all at the same time.
I would definitely recommend this lovely property to family and friends.

Super villa for relaxing and chilling out
Our second visit to Coverley House, and the first with new owners Becky and Andy. The booking system, payments, correspondence, and "welcome" email worked perfectly. The house was lovely and clean, Harriet was there to meet us and everything was just as described.
After many trips to Barbados, our holidays mainly revolve around quiet, lazy days at the pool, local bars and restaurants, and frequent trips to the fish market to get snapper, barracuda, mahi mahi, etc for our BBQ. If you like the local laid-back life then this villa is just perfect. we don't really do "recommendations", but here are 3:
- Ask Harriet to bring in some Pudding 'n' Souse. Delicious!
- Go to Martin Bay Fish Fry on Thursday lunchtime. Fantastic.
- Listen to cricket on 94.7FM, or better still, go to the game (Barbados at Kensington Oval, or club game nearby at Lucas Street can be more fun).
Enjoy your Bajan holiday ... and try the lead pipe or great cake with your afternoon tea :)

Best Villa in Barbados
The Coverley house was perfect! From the beginning, communicating with Becky was a breeze. She was very helpful, polite and quick to respond. She gave us all the information and more we needed for a perfect week in Barbados!
Harriett was the best! We were greeted upon arrival and shown everything we needed to know about the house. We were able to contact Harriett with any questions and she even called to check on us during the week! The welcome pack is such a great touch to get you started and very much appreciated after a long day of traveling. It is very apparent the guests are #1 priority at the Coverley house.
The house was very well taken care of and everything was SPOTLESS! We felt as if we were in our own home. The Coverley house has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It was very spacious and everything was in clean working order. The pool and outdoor gazebo were our favorite to come home to after a long day of exploring the island.
Our favorite spots:
- Bottom bay was absolutely beautiful
- Watching the sunset at the Surfers Cafe
- Cutter's Deli and the Rum Punch!
- The Tiki Bar
- Fish Fry at Oistins on Friday Night
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us, we will definitely be back!
-Amanda, Chris, Erin & Troy
