Calabaza Cruise
Departs from the docks in Bridgetown and includes pick up and drop off at the Villa in the price of your cruise. They only take smaller groups maximum of 12 people so the service is great includes a meal & drinks. They have morning, afternoon and evening cruises. The Cruise always gets rave reviews from guests.

Crystal Waters

Earthworks Pottery
(25minute drive) - An amazing pottery studio! No cost to go and next door you will find the potters house which is home to On the Wall Gallery where there is amazing Barbados art available to see and purchase. They also have the Arthouse Café on the verandah.

Fish Market
Head down to the fish Market in Oistins and watch them work cleaning fish! Stroll out onto the pier and watch them feed the sea turtles just a few feet away. 5-10 minutes.

Harrison's Cave
a guided tour taking you way underground to see the natural formation of underground caves, streams, waterfalls and crystal formations. Located on the northern part of the Island. Approximately 30-40 minute drive.

Jolly Roger Pirate Cruise
It's been around for decades and is a great experience. Sails along the south/west coast on a real pirate ship with music, dancing, drinks and a great meal. Lunch or dinner cruise available. 25-30 minute drive to the dock.

Mount Gay Rum Distillery
Once you taste Mount Gay Rum you will become a total lover of it! The Distillery is absolutely stunning with a great relaxing atmosphere. They offer many tours & tastings. Approximately 30 minute drive.

Pirates Cove in Carlisle Bay
(20 minute drive) right beside the boat yard, great facility, lounge chairs and umbrellas to rent and restaurant.

Sam Lord's Castle
One of the Island's pirate legends. The castle is in ruins, up until late 2017 you could help yourself to a self guided tour of the property, it is now being totally redone into a Wyndham Grand resort. You can still access the beach and walk the property, this will change as construction progresses I assume. It's an interesting bit of history! 20 minute drive.

St Nicholas Abbey
It is a plantation and has a syrup factory, rum distillery & sugar mill. In 2018 it welcomed the addition of a steam train ride. (approx. 50 minute drive is situated near the north point.) It is adjacent Cherry Tree Hill which has an amazing view. Check out the website for all that is available here.

Surfing Lessons Hang Ten Adventures

The Boat Yard in Carlisle Bay
(20 minute drive) excellent calm beach for kids and great value for your money here with some water entertainment. Water trampoline, rope swing a boat ride to see the sea turtles which includes snorkel gear.

The North Point
(50 minute drive) Well worth the trip, it is an amazing view. There is a fantastic restaurant there as well as a small playground for young kids and a few gift shops and locals selling their artisans. You can go for a guided tour (45 min or so) of the Animal Flower Cave, it is amazing!
